Trip Overview
Join our 5 Days Desert Tour from Casablanca to Merzouga and uncover the magic of Morocco. During this adventure, you’ll travel from Casablanca to the golden dunes of Merzouga, passing through Fes, the Middle Atlas Mountains, and the stunning Dades Valley. Moreover, you’ll experience authentic Moroccan culture, taste traditional dishes, and sleep under the stars in the Sahara Desert. In addition, this trip combines history, nature, and adventure in one unforgettable journey.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH+
On the first day, our guide will pick you up from your hotel/riad at 8 a.m. We will then head to Marrakech, where we will visit the Jamaa el Fna Square, the Medina, and the Souks And overnight in Riad/Hotel
Day 2: MARRAKECH- KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU- ROSE VALLEY- DADES GORGES+
After breakfast, we will continue our 5 day tour from Casablanca by driving to the High Atlas, where we will cross the Tichka Pass, the highest mountain in North Africa. We will stop to see the panoramic views of the High Atlas and the Berber villages. We will visit the Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou, known as the gateway to the desert, where many international films were shot. We will then have lunch and take a break. After that, we will cross Ouarzazate and visit the Palm Grove of Skoura, the Valley of the Roses, and the Valley of Dades. We will spend the night in a hotel/riad in Dades.
Day 3: DADES - TODRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA+
After breakfast, we will visit the Dades Gorges and take pictures. We will then head to the famous Todra Gorges and Erfoud, known for its fossils. We will then turn to the Erg Chebbi Dunes (Merzouga), where we will take a 1.5-hour camel ride to see the sunset. We will then arrive at the Berber camp, where we will have dinner, listen to traditional Berber music, and spend the night in nomadic Berber tents.
Day 4: MERZOUGA - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH+
We will wake up early to climb the great dune to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, we will head back to Marrakech.
Day 5: MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA+
On the last day, we will transfer you to the airport in Casablanca.
