Itinerary: 5 Days from Casablanca to Merzouga Desert
Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech
Your adventure begins when our guide picks you up from your hotel or riad in Casablanca at 8:00 a.m. We’ll drive to Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant cities.
Discover the charm of Jemaa el-Fna Square, the lively Medina, and colorful souks filled with spices and handicrafts.
Overnight stay in a traditional riad or hotel in Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges
After breakfast, we’ll drive through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest in North Africa.
We’ll stop at Berber villages and enjoy panoramic views before visiting the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
After lunch, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” then explore Skoura Palm Grove, Rose Valley, and the spectacular Dades Gorges.
Dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel in Dades.
Day 3: Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we’ll head toward the impressive Todra Gorges, a paradise for climbers and photographers.
Next, we’ll pass through Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops, and continue to the Erg Chebbi Dunes in Merzouga.
Here, you’ll enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes while watching a breathtaking sunset over the Sahara.
Dinner, music, and overnight stay at a Berber desert camp under the stars.
Day 4: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we’ll return by camels to Merzouga and start our drive back to Marrakech through Ouarzazate.
Enjoy scenic views of the Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
Overnight in a riad or hotel.
Day 5: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation or directly to the Casablanca airport for your departure flight.
